As Protective Security Officers within South Australia Police (SAPOL) we provide a broad range of policing and community services to ensure the people of South Australia are safe and secure.
Right now SAPOL is investing for a better and more sustainable future, which means attracting, engaging and recruiting new Protective Security Officers to the modern, restructured Police Security Services Branch (PSSB).
Protective Security Officers provide a range of security services to protect vital government infrastructure and assets. These include security advice and consultancy, securing government buildings, patrolling and monitoring of electronic security systems.
Within the PSSB, Protective Security Officers perform the primary function of maintaining the security of government facilities and public officials, working with police and emergency services to maintain and restore security and keep the community safe.
It’s an exciting time for SAPOL and the PSSB and you can be part of it.
